Amazfit has launched the T-Rex Dual Solar in the US as a rugged smartwatch built for long-distance adventures and multi-day outdoor trips. Its biggest highlight is the solar charging system. The watch can collect solar energy from both the front display and the rear glass-ceramic panel.

The rugged construction includes a Grade 5 titanium bezel and buttons, a fibre-reinforced polymer middle frame and a glass-ceramic bottom shell. The watch also has a built-in flashlight with white and red light options.
There is a microphone and speaker for Bluetooth calls. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. The watch works with Android 7.0 and above and iOS 14.0 and above through the Zepp app.
Amazfit also supports Zepp Flow, podcast storage and more than 180 workout modes. Users can access Zepp Coach training plans and connect their data with platforms such as Strava, TrainingPeaks, Runna and Google Fit.
