Reliance Jio has announced a new partnership with Canva in India. The deal gives eligible Jio users access to Canva Pro or Canva Pro Lite at no extra cost. The benefit is available for up to 12 months. Its stated value goes up to Rs. 4,000. The offer is particularly useful for students, creators, professionals and small businesses that regularly use Canva for social media posts, presentations, marketing material and other designs.
The offer starts from September 16, 2026. However, the subscription a user gets depends on the Jio recharge plan they are using.
Jio Users Get Free Canva Pro Or Pro Lite
Jio has tied the Canva benefit directly to select recharge plans. Users on the Rs. 399 plan can get the full Canva Pro subscription for 12 months. Those using the Rs. 349 plan can get Canva Pro Lite. The same Pro Lite benefit is also available with eligible Jio plans offering 2GB of daily data and priced above Rs. 349.
More From Techotales
There is no separate payment for the Canva subscription under the offer. Eligible users can activate the benefit through the MyJio app.
| Jio Recharge Plan | Canva Benefit | Validity |

How To Claim Free Canva Pro On Jio
Claiming the benefit does not require a complicated process. Eligible Jio users need to open the MyJio app on their smartphone.
After logging in, users should look for the Canva offer. They can then select the offer and follow the on-screen activation steps. Once the activation is completed, the Canva subscription linked to the eligible Jio plan becomes available.
The offer is being rolled out through Jio’s supported recharge channels from September 16.
Canva Pro Vs Canva Pro Lite: What Do You Get?
The full Canva Pro subscription comes with a wider set of premium tools. Users get access to millions of premium templates, photos, videos and fonts. It also includes the one-tap Background Remover and Magic Eraser.
Canva Pro also adds advanced Brand Kits, Content Planner and Canva AI features. Higher AI usage limits are another benefit. The Pro subscription includes up to 100GB of cloud storage under this offer.
Canva Pro Lite offers many of the basic premium tools. Users get premium templates, photos, videos and fonts, along with Background Remover, Magic Resize, Magic Eraser and print-ready exports.
However, some advanced features are limited. Pro Lite includes three basic Brand Kits, while the full Pro plan supports five advanced Brand Kits. Content Planner and Canva’s conversational chat-to-design AI are also reserved for the full Pro tier. Pro Lite comes with 50GB of cloud storage.
Useful For Students, Creators And Businesses
The Jio-Canva partnership is not limited to professional designers. The tools can be used for everyday creative work as well. Students can create school projects and presentations. Creators can design social media posts and thumbnails. Small businesses can prepare marketing material and promotional graphics.
Canva also supports Hindi and multiple Indian languages. This makes the service more accessible to users who prefer creating content in regional languages. For Reliance Jio users already on an eligible plan, the offer also removes the need to purchase a separate Canva subscription during the promotional period.
