Vivo has officially launched the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro in India. Both smartphones were earlier introduced in China and later reached select global markets. Now, the new X series flagships have made their way to the Indian market with the same premium design, powerful camera setups, and the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset.

The camera setup is a major highlight. The Vivo X300 features a Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera unit.
It includes:
• A 200MP 1/1.14-inch HPB primary sensor with OIS
• A 50MP ultra-wide lens with a JN1 sensor
• A 50MP Sony IMX885 telephoto sensor with OIS and 3x optical zoom

On the front, the phone carries a 50MP selfie camera. All cameras support 4K video recording. Vivo is also offering a Zeiss 2.35x Telephoto Extender Kit for photography lovers.

Features

Powering the Vivo X300 is the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. Vivo pairs it with its Pro Imaging VS1 chip and the V3+ imaging chip to improve colour science, low-light clarity, and portrait performance.

The phone runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6. You get up to 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.

The phone also comes with an in-display 3D single-point ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. It has IP68 and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance. The X300 weighs 190 grams and is 7.95mm thick.

Battery

The handset packs a 6,040mAh lithium-ion battery. It supports 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging. For a compact phone of this size, the battery capacity is impressive.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 6, GPS, NFC, OTG, and USB Type-C.

The Vivo X300 Pro features a larger 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display. It has a 1.5K resolution of 1260×2800 pixels.
The refresh rate goes up to 120Hz. The screen also supports HDR10+, has SGS Low Blue Light certification, and TUV Rheinland Flicker-Free certification. The display offers deeper colours and excellent outdoor brightness.

Camera

The X300 Pro also features a Zeiss-tuned triple camera setup but with higher-end sensors.
It includes:
• A 50MP Sony LYT-828 primary sensor, CIPA 5.5 rated
• A 200MP periscope telephoto sensor with 3.5x optical zoom
• A 50MP ultra-wide-angle JN1 sensor

The front has a 50MP selfie camera. The X300 Pro also supports Vivo’s 2.35x Telephoto Extender Kit, co-engineered with Zeiss. This kit comes with a lens, adapter ring, mounting accessories, and a special case.

Features

Just like the X300, the Pro model also runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. It comes with 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.

The frame is made of Aluminium Alloy. Vivo uses glass on the front and a glass-fibre panel on the back.

Sensors include e-compass, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, colour temperature sensor, proximity sensor, and a fingerprint sensor. It also has IP68 and IP69 certification.

Battery

The Vivo X300 Pro houses a massive 6,510mAh battery. It supports 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. The Indian variant keeps the same battery as the Chinese one. Only the global variant has a slightly smaller battery.
