OnePlus has expanded its tablet lineup in India with the launch of the new OnePlus Pad 4, and this one clearly aims to deliver a premium experience. The brand is focusing heavily on performance, display quality, and productivity features, making it more than just a media consumption device. With a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a large 13.2-inch display, the Pad 4 is positioned as a serious competitor in the high-end tablet segment.
The tablet also brings improvements in AI features and multitasking, giving users a more PC-like experience. Let’s take a closer look at what the OnePlus Pad 4 offers.
OnePlus Pad 4 Design And Display

The OnePlus Pad 4 features a sleek metal unibody design that looks and feels premium. It is just 5.94mm thick and weighs around 672 grams, which is quite impressive for a tablet of this size. The design is clean, minimal, and clearly built for both work and entertainment.
The highlight is the 13.2-inch 3.4K LCD display. It offers a resolution of 3153 × 2048 pixels and supports a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate. This makes scrolling smooth and enhances the overall user experience, especially during gaming and multitasking. The display also supports Dolby Vision and offers up to 1,000 nits peak brightness. With 12-bit colour depth, it delivers vibrant colours and sharp visuals. However, it is worth noting that the panel is IPS LCD and not AMOLED, which some users might expect at this price point.
OnePlus Pad 4 Performance And Software

Under the hood, the OnePlus Pad 4 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. This is a flagship-level chipset, and it ensures smooth performance across demanding tasks. The tablet comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, making it suitable for heavy multitasking and large files.
The device runs on OxygenOS 16, which brings several productivity-focused features. OnePlus has introduced PC-like multitasking capabilities, including resizable windows, drag-and-drop support, and improved file management.
The tablet also supports second-screen functionality and cross-device controls, allowing users to connect it with other devices for a more seamless workflow.
On the AI front, the Pad 4 includes several tools such as AI Writer, AI Summary, AI Translate, AI Painter, and AI Recorder. The AI Recorder feature supports real-time transcription and summarisation, which can be useful for meetings and note-taking.
OnePlus Pad 4 Audio And Connectivity

Audio is another strong point of the OnePlus Pad 4. It features an eight-speaker setup with four woofers and four tweeters. The system supports spatial audio, delivering an immersive sound experience for movies, music, and gaming.
The tablet also includes a large vapour chamber cooling system with a 40,670 square mm area. This helps in managing heat during extended usage, especially while gaming or multitasking.
In terms of connectivity, the device supports Wi-Fi 7 and features an AI-powered smart antenna system for better signal stability.
Battery And Accessories

The OnePlus Pad 4 packs a massive 13,380mAh battery. The company claims it can deliver up to 20 hours of video playback and up to seven hours of gaming, which is quite impressive.
It also supports 80W fast charging, allowing users to quickly recharge the device and get back to work or entertainment.
The tablet supports accessories like the OnePlus Stylo Pro stylus, which comes with improved pressure sensitivity and a refined tip for better precision. OnePlus is also expected to launch a smart keyboard for enhanced productivity.
What’s Missing
While the tablet offers strong features, there are a couple of things missing. It does not come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. It also does not have calling feature. Also, despite its premium pricing, the display is LCD and not AMOLED, which might be a drawback for some users.
