Apple has once again pushed the boundaries of wireless technology with the launch of AirPods Pro 3 at the 2025 Apple event. These aren’t your regular ones. They are your personal fitness tracker, translator, and audio companion, all rolled into one package. With groundbreaking health monitoring capabilities and AI-powered translation features, Apple is transforming how we think about wireless earbuds.
Apple AirPods 3 With Health Tracking

Here is some big news. AirPods Pro can now monitor your heart rate, just like your Apple Watch. Apple built an infrared sensor right into the earbuds that tracks blood flow. No extra gadgets are needed.
The health features go deeper as the earbuds work with your iPhone, GPS, and their own motion sensors for tracking 50 types of workouts in the fitness app. Running, cycling, or weightlifting, they’ll log it all, and count your calories and progress towards daily goals.
If you pay for Apple Fitness+, you get live stats during workouts. Your heart rate and calories burned show up right on-screen while you follow along with trainers.
Talk To Anyone With Live Translation

The translation feature is pretty wild. Speak English, and the person wearing the other earbud hears it in Spanish. The translation happens instantly, either through the earbuds or as text on your iPhone screen.
Apple is starting with five languages, but it plans to add Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese by year’s end. The feature launches in beta, so expect some rough edges early on.
Better Fit And Tougher Build
Apple redesigned the shape of AirPods Pro 3 based on scanning thousands of ears. The eartips are now better, and they are made with a new material. You get five sizes, including XXS for smaller ears.
The IP57 rating means these can handle sweat and water better than before. Apple says this makes them good for workouts and outdoor use in different weather.
Audio Gets Major Updates

Sound quality has improved across the board in AirPods Pro 3. The new acoustic design includes adaptive EQ that adjusts automatically. Noise cancellation now blocks twice as much outside noise. Sound is comparable to AirPods Pro 2 and four times better than the original Pro model.
Transparency mode sounds more natural when you need to hear what’s around you; voices come through clearly and less robotic.
Battery Life Actually Improved

The battery performance has significantly improved with noise cancellation on; you get eight hours of listening in AirPods Pro 3, which is 33% longer than before. Switch to transparency mode and you’ll get 10 hours.
Apple also expanded hearing features. Conversation boost automatically kicks in during noisy situations, and you can take a hearing test at home through the earbuds.
