Google is making its AI subscriptions about much more than access to Gemini. The company is increasingly bundling AI tools with storage, entertainment, smart-home features, health coaching and developer benefits. This makes Google AI plans useful for people who already rely heavily on Google’s ecosystem.
The current premium lineup includes Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra, with different levels of access and bundled benefits. Google AI Pro comes with 5TB of storage, while AI Ultra starts with 20TB. Both plans also include premium benefits beyond the core Gemini experience.

🚀 Google AI Pro vs Ultra
From 5TB vs 20TB storage and expanded Gemini access to YouTube Premium, Google Health, Google Home, Cloud credits, developer tools and Colab, Google’s AI plans bundle far more than just AI.

Google AI Pro is designed for users who want more access to Gemini and Google’s productivity tools without going all the way to the Ultra tier. The plan provides 5TB of cloud storage across Google Photos, Drive and Gmail. It also includes higher access to Gemini and other AI-powered features across Google’s ecosystem.
One of the biggest additions is YouTube Premium Lite. Pro subscribers get fewer ads on most videos, along with background playback and offline downloads. Music and Shorts are excluded from the Premium Lite benefits, and availability varies by country.
Google AI Pro also includes Google Health Premium in supported markets. It brings the Gemini-powered Google Health Coach, which can provide personalised guidance around fitness, rest and recovery. Google says the experience can use information related to sleep, activity, nutrition and other health metrics to provide insights.
Another useful addition is Google Home Premium Standard. Pro subscribers can get 30 days of event video history, intelligent alerts and conversational assistance through Gemini Live. Google also offers a feature called Help Me Create, which can turn a written instruction into a smart-home automation.
Google AI Ultra Takes Things Further
Google AI Ultra is aimed at users who want the highest level of access to Google’s AI ecosystem. It starts with 20TB of cloud storage and offers substantially higher usage limits for Gemini compared with users without an AI plan.
Entertainment is another major difference. Ultra includes the full YouTube Premium individual plan in supported countries. This means users get ad-free YouTube and YouTube Music, along with offline and background playback. Google also highlights features such as video queuing and Jump Ahead.
Ultra subscribers get the higher-tier Google Home Premium Advanced plan. It includes up to 60 days of event history, 10 days of continuous 24/7 video history and Home Brief, which provides a daily summary of home events.
Health benefits remain part of the package as well. Google AI Ultra subscribers get Google Health Premium and access to the Gemini-powered Health Coach in supported markets and on compatible devices.
Cloud Credits For Developers
Google is also targeting developers with its AI plans. Google AI Pro includes $10 in monthly Google Cloud credits, while AI Ultra increases that to $40 per month. These credits add another layer of value for developers who regularly experiment with Google’s cloud and AI services.
The plans also provide expanded access to developer tools. Google AI Pro offers higher limits in AI Studio, Google Antigravity and Jules, along with expanded access to Gemini-powered development capabilities in Android Studio. Ultra increases those limits further.
Google has also expanded AI plan benefits to Google Colab. AI subscribers can receive priority access to faster accelerators, while Ultra subscribers get additional benefits such as Premium GPU access and uninterrupted background execution.
Gemini Across Google’s Apps
The main reason many users will consider these plans is still Gemini. Google AI Pro and Ultra provide higher access to its advanced models and features. Gemini is also integrated into products such as Gmail and Google Docs, helping users write, proofread and work with information without constantly switching between applications.
The plans also expand access to Google’s creative AI tools. Users can get higher limits for image, music and video generation across Gemini, Google Search and Google Flow, depending on their subscription tier and region.

Conclusion
Google’s AI subscriptions have evolved into much broader bundles. Gemini remains at the centre, but users are also getting cloud storage, YouTube benefits, smart-home tools, health coaching and developer resources.
For everyday users, Google AI Pro offers a strong mix of AI access and bundled services. Google AI Ultra is aimed at power users who want higher AI limits, more storage and Google’s most premium entertainment and smart-home benefits.
The exact availability of some benefits depends on the country, device and eligibility. Google currently lists India among the supported regions for its AI plans, but individual bundled services can have separate availability restrictions.
