The Galaxy Z Fold 8 introduces what Samsung calls a wide-open design, making both displays more practical for daily use. The handset features a 10:16 aspect ratio cover screen, allowing users to comfortably reply to messages, browse social media, or watch short-form videos without opening the phone.
Once unfolded, the device offers a larger 4:3 inner display that provides a more immersive experience for streaming content, gaming, reading, and multitasking. One of the biggest highlights is Samsung’s new Flex Titanium technology. The company has combined a titanium-alloy film with a titanium plate to make the device thinner while maintaining durability. Samsung also claims the redesigned hinge feels smoother and requires less effort to open and close compared to previous Galaxy Z Fold models.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 features a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, making it easier to use even under bright sunlight.
The cover display measures 5.5 inches and also uses a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Samsung has protected the front using Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3, while the rear panel gets Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The frame is built using Samsung’s new Advanced Armour Aluminium, and the handset carries an IP48 rating for water resistance.

It also includes a 10-megapixel camera on the cover display and another 10-megapixel camera beneath the inner display for selfies and video calls. The smartphone supports 8K video recording at 30fps, allowing users to capture high-resolution videos.
